GVTC Foundation Mission Statement:

“To profoundly enhance the quality of life in the communities we serve through charitable contributions and volunteer service in support of our program goals.”

Criteria for Applying:

Request for donations will be considered only from the following groups who have connections to GVTC or to the GVTC service area. We will not consider requests that are outside our service area or that have no connections to GVTC. In addition, The GVTC Foundation does not support the following: religious organizations or programs, political organizations or candidates, conferences, seminars or reunions, research projects and individual requests. 501(c)3’s:


The GVTC Foundation must have the following information from organization’s requesting donations. This information must be submitted on the organization’s official letterhead:

The exact amount requested and the specific purpose for the donation briefly summarized and type written on
  your organization’s letterhead.
Information about your organization, including proof of your 501(c)3 status and sources of your organization’s
  funding.
Information, if any, concerning past or current involvement of The GVTC Foundation with your organization.
Proof of organization’s connection to GVTC or status of location in the GVTC service area.
Name and contact information of any officer of the organization.

Non 501(c)3’s:

The GVTC Foundation must have the following information from organizations requesting donations. Although The GVTC Foundation rarely considers requests from non501(c)3’s, we will make an exception on a case by case basis.

The exact amount requested and the specific purpose for the donation briefly summarized and type written.
Information about your organization and sources of your organization’s funding.
Information, if any, concerning past or current involvement of The GVTC Foundation with the organization.
Proof of organization’s connection to GVTC or status of location in the GVTC service area.
Name and contact information for purposes of approval notification.

We cannot accept requests for donations via the telephone

All requests for donations are reviewed on an ongoing basis. It may take 4 to 6 weeks to review a request, so please allow enough time if your request is related to a specific event. Due to the number of requests and proposals we receive, we are unable to follow up with each organization requesting a donation. If your request is approved, you will be notified.
